We can't sell him!

Who else have we got to empty the barrels in the club bar?

Re: Andy Carroll working hard to get back to full fitness in....
Different situation now we have Hernandez's providing he stays fit and in form.
Carroll will eventually get fit again and return around end of September. Previously he would have been an instant starter after a couple of sub appearances, taken a few games to get up to speed, score a few goals, start looking match fit and really good then get injured again & so on. That has been the situation since he arrived. Last season was the first time I think he had not been injured pre season but then he got injured again right at the start.
At least if he stays he can be brought back slowly and used sparingly as a sub and cover for Hernandez.
I suppose we have Sakho allegedly fit now too though big questions as to whether he stays fit or leaves before the window ends.
We are due some luck with strikers too so looking on the bright side for once we may be spoilt for choice this season?

Getting treatment for his hip-FLASK, more likely.

Loft extension, basement enlargement and a wall or two knocked through is my bet.

Duty free don't fly itself home.

I'd hope we are already recruiting his replacement as it must be obvious by now even to the West Ham staff that we've had all we are getting from him.

Sullivan and Gold are as much to blame for this embarrassment of a footballer as Allardyce, who persuaded them to give the bloke a six year contract.
The fans are still being shat upon by this atrocious business decision.

It's the people who defended him that I feel sorry for.

5-8 goals ain't bad from about 10 appearances though Roby.

It's getting him on the pitch that's the problem.

Yep getting ridiculous now, the cunt is virtually never fit, not even in pre season, just goes on in and on.

Him being puctured out in Ibiza whilst the rest of the squad are in Austria and with the comment about being up all night was the last straw.

He's had a hip injury for that long?

I thought Slav had one replaced over the summer, he seems to be more mobile than Carroll is ever likely to be.

Re: Andy Carroll working hard to get back to full fitness in....
He's got two years left on his deal.

I'd give him one more season but wouldn't expect much from him, probably just his usual 5-8 goals.

The Official Site says he is receiving treatment for his hip.

HIP HIP HOO FUCKING RAY

PS Pay him off Sullivan. We've had enough of this unprofessional joker.

I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head with the beginning of your second sentence there Ted.

I still don't know what Carroll's injury is
That said I don't think it particularly matters as once this one ends another will be right behind it
You could definitely sense Bilic's exasperation with Carroll at the end of last season. What can you do when your medical staff say they can't find the injury the player is complaining of?

Perhaps send for a shrink
Or those kidnappers on motorbike they tried before

I'm sure that money influences your life style but you learn to love football at an early age and I don't think you lose that love.
Unless you get hooked on booze drugs etc., football is always in your blood and I hope that our medics can spot these problems !

Hopefully Carroll will get fit and be a massive influence on our squad.

I wonder if Carroll actually wants to get fit and play or just live the lifestyle of a footballer.

That is the problem when they can earn big money without really doing much.

Roby

I think the only reason they have not extended his contract is because his injury record is worse than Carroll's. Agree he is a wrongun but if he kept fit and scored 15 goals a season (which he is capable of) I dont think they would give a shit.

Think we need to try and move Sakho or Carroll on this season and get another striker in still.

Re: Andy Carroll working hard to get back to full fitness in....
Slaven has given up on AC. He no longer needs to rely on him and will allow him to leave. Expect crunch talks once it is decided they can't get him fully fit.

Re: Andy Carroll working hard to get back to full fitness in....
I get the feeling the board like Sakho from the comments made in the past by Gold and Sullivan however whether Bilic does is another thing entirely. I think if Sakho is really fit and his head is right he can be a big asset and positive impact on how we play. Shows a lot of effort and passion on the pitch.
If he gets moody about not starting every game and doesn't understand the notion of being part of a team then you have to get rid.

As for Andy, always thought he was a great tactical option but not a regular starter or plan A. We play too much hoofball when he is out there. Feel his career is slipping away by the year. Bilic seems to talk him up and Sullivan seems to have lost patience
